Position Summary
Ultimate Staffing is currently recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity based in Fort Worth, TX. This role offers an annual salary between $55,000 and $65,000.
The Warehouse Supervisor will manage and oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. This position is responsible for ensuring warehouse activities are carried out efficiently, accurately, and safely, while supporting company objectives and customer satisfaction. The supervisor will lead and develop a team of warehouse associates, track key performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate warehouse team members by clearly communicating daily objectives and performance expectations. Provide ongoing training and development to support team growth and productivity.
- Maintain accurate inventory control through cycle counts, reconciliations, and proper stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO), and investigate and resolve inventory variances.
- Oversee daily warehouse functions such as receiving, storage, order fulfillment, packing, and shipping to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to identify risks and ensure proper use of equipment and materials. Foster a strong safety-first culture.
- Analyze warehouse processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements that increase accuracy, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Track and report on warehouse performance metrics, including order accuracy, inventory turnover, and shipping timelines, and recommend process enhancements.
- Ensure warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, etc.) is properly used, maintained, and compliant with safety requirements. Manage supplies and consumables to prevent workflow disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and inventory management software.
- Forklift certification preferred; OSHA certification is a plus.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control best practices.
- Proficiency with WMS or ERP platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Work Schedule
This position operates Monday through Friday on first shift.
